Carry My Brother, Inc. was created to provide financial support for disadvantaged youth, to promote education, and to allow such individuals to participate in athletics and other activities which develop skills that help them to achieve excellence in academics and life.

Carry My Brother, Inc. invests in and supports local youth sports organizations that provide opportunities to children from low-income families. We support organizations that help children develop skills that will help them achieve excellence in academics and life. Our organization also honors community leaders who are making a difference in the lives of young athletes and students in the communities in which they serve.

At Carry My Brother, our goal is to allow ALL children the opportunity to play sports and not be excluded due to financial circumstances. Extracurricular activities are expensive and can be unattainable for many children in need.

Many physical education programs are being eliminated from school curriculum and increasingly children have to “pay to play.” Carry My Brother, Inc. partners with local organizations to become a bridge to help children stay active and put them on the path to success.

Participation in extracurricular sports significantly impacts short and long-term educational, emotional, behavioral, and physical outcomes for disadvantaged, poverty stricken youth (International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity (2013).

We believe that children who have the opportunity to play sports learn many valuable life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and accountability. These valuable life lessons translate into success in the classroom and one day into their careers.
